The Mingary Counselling Service is still open for clients via Zoom and telephone counselling.
7 August 2020 – ZOOM and telephone appointments available.
In addition to telephone counselling, we are now offering appointments by Zoom video conferencing. This will allow you and your counsellor to see each other if you prefer.
You do not need to install Zoom to use it. All you need is a device (phone, computer, iPad or other tablet) with an internet browser (Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer).
An email or text message with an internet link for a Zoom meeting would be sent to you prior to your appointment. To attend the appoinment, you would click on the link which will admit you to a virtual waiting room. Your counsellor would then admit you to the meeting.
If you have not used Zoom before and experience difficulties using it, we could talk you through the process over the telephone.
To make a telephone or Zoom counselling appointment, please email Carmen at email@example.com or telephone her on 9654 5120. We are all working remotely, but voicemail is being checked frequently throughout each business day.
Unfortunately, new Vocational Assessments cannot be commenced until we are able to offer face-to-face sessions.
Our mission is to provide high quality counselling for an affordable fee. There are no means tests, so anybody can attend our low-cost service, regardless of income. There are no waiting lists or limits on the number of sessions a client may attend. Referrals are not required. Confidentiality is assured.
The Mingary Counselling Service operates under the auspices of St Michael's Uniting Church but does not promote religious beliefs. Our services are available to all members of the community, regardless of background.
The Mingary Counselling Service is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
